Hi I'm Aspen! some may refer to me as pistol, exn, etc... you may do the same if you'd like. i'm a roleplayer & artist, though this page has been dedicated to my roleplaying account. I'm revisiting a old hobby for fun (and practice), feel free to give me feed back, I am always open to changes. OOC I'm informal but will use grammar for postsAvailability. I happen to be very busy right now and I'm expecting for that to continue for awhile. Due to that, roleplay durations may last for multiple days. It honestly depends and I usually set this disclaimer before every ad and/or request, but if you or I take 24HRs to respond it is an instant pause until further notice. I will check in with you and request a void/null.Response Length. My response lengths can be inconsistent due to adjusting to the mood of the RP rather than forcing length for the sake of length. To specify further: when I'm really immersed into the roleplay, important moments, opening/starters, and the ending of said roleplay I may type more. You are free to write as much as you want.Characters. I don't really have a preference, technically, though I do play female characters the most. Ages vary from 5 to 35, on average I will play a older teenager to young adult just because that follows my current state of life.

001.

you must be 18+ and female out of character if our characters will be in romantic situations. I have no age / sex requirement for platonic situations. I only really have this to be a requirement because firstly, I have a boyfriend. Him and I have set boundaries and If I wouldn't want him to do that with another woman, then I cant do that with another guy. We also have to be strictly platonic out of character too, as a given. Another reason for the 18+ requirement is that I am an adult myself. I am not lenient with this at all.

002.

Please be able to communicate to me on if you like something or not. Don't be afraid to say no to me, we are both equals in this. In addition, inform me if you will take breaks, void the RP, lose interest, change your mind about something, etc. Communication is the most important thing to me and I'd prefer you be honest than be uncomfortable or have the feeling to ghost me. I really hate stuff like that, so just know that this is a safe place. We are both young adults, and should act like such.

003.

I don't mind how much my RP partner decides to write with my as long as it's 4+ sentences. I briefly mentioned this in my about me, when speaking about how much I write personally. If you want to mirror my length, write more, or less words than me... do it! I don't want any pressure for either of us to match the others' length. I don't like forcing length for the sake of it, it personally demotivates me and I believe in quality over quantity. At minimum I will write four sentences so that's the minimum I expect. No one liners, sorry.

Please don't use any generative ai of any kind, this includes but isn't limited to: art, writing, music... If you really want to use a ai fc please consider using an already made one... I'm very against ai being used. As both an artist and amateur writer, Its like a slap in the face. There are great alternatives for fixing your grammar and if you really want to improve: write. You need to read and write to improve relying on gen. Ai will never make you improve on your skills. There are also great alternatives for more personal face claims, like piccrew.

005.

Please do not request NSFW roleplays. I am a taken woman, belonging to my husband dogma. I'm not just saying this for the sake of doing so--too many requests has made it so I have to mention it multiple times both in my advertisements and website. This is not something I want. You will get an immediate block, and there will be no repeal for such. Don't bother lying I am very organized and will remember your username. Thanks.

TLDR

I like a lot of things and those aren't important as long as you know this: stay the fuck away from me if you're into lolishota, incest, rape, etc. I'm okay with darker themes--in fact I thrive on it. I love to explore themes of abuse, mental illness, etc. But I don't like the romanization of it. STARTER SAMPLE.

Affectionate + Idealistic -- " I'll take the empty seat and the risk of caring,"Mira had slid her umbrella into the slow before grabbing the handle, pushing the door open. The chime of the doorbell echoed through the cafe as Mira stepped inside, immediately immersed in a new world filled with the rich smell of freshly brewed espresso paired with pasties. Bussing with energy, cups clinking, with chatter that bounced off the walls -- the cafe was packed, unsurprisingly. The new themed dessert had taken social media by storm; a round, cartoonish chocolate bear filled with creme among with other specialty items made specifically for the event."That's why I'm here in the first place, after all."She thought to herself, hiding a sly smile. The new show, Kumamiko, had sponsored the event to further advertise the already very successful animated film. Mira had been a long-time fan of the manga, and so the event had taken her attention the second she had heard of it.Her gaze scanned across the sea of customers as Mira tugged at the scarf on her neck with one hand. Most of the tables were occupied by couples, groups of friends, or hardcore fans of the franchise. She had turned her head towards the hostess stand only to be greeted with an apologetic smile followed by a gesture to the sign, which read... shared seating.A light huff escaped her lips, mostly out of amusement rather than annoyance."Of course. Just my luck..." She thought.Her gaze proceeded to the other tables, maneuvering around the rowdy students seated in groups. Too loud.. Too friendly... Too awkward?? Then, she spotted her. A girl sitting all by herself. ~~Not a guy, and that was all the encouragement Mira needed.~~"Finally! my legs HURT!!" She thought."Hey, sorry, mind if I sit here?"She asked, though her body was already halfway into the seat across from the girl. "Everywhere else is full, and honestly... You felt like the least intimidating option." Mira let out a chuckle, placing her bag on her lap as she reached for the tablet. Her lips remained curled into a small, sheepish smile as she settled in. Up close the girl was far more intriguing than she expected -- dark hair tied into high pigtails with red ribbons, soft pink tips brushing against her article of clothing, with a bell chiming faintly in her hair. Under her eyes were black dots, and just beneath her collarbone was a glimpse of a tattoo, though Mira couldn't make up of what the image was."I'm Mira, by the way," she added quickly as her elbows were propped against the table."The new event sure is bringing quite the success to this spot, I don't frequent cafes often, but I couldn't help; the bear is cute, right?" She studied the girl's face with open curiosity, then tilted her head slightly,"You're from U.A., right? Kind of hard to miss the uniform. I go there too, I'm in my 3rd year."

Or well, thats how Mira took it; she was always quite dramatic.I mean, it is shared seating, but I guess I did come across as.. rude. Mira gave her grace, understanding that she could come across as intense, especially to people who don't know her well. But she didn’t move. Instead, her gaze dropped to the paper in the girl’s hand. She tilted her head slightly, catching a glimpse of the drawing. It was rough, but not without charm. Her gaze was now redirected back to the tablet." Sorry for just dropping into your bubble uninvited. I didn’t mean to come off as rude, the sign said shared seating. "And there aren't many options, You understand, right?""Rikka... " She echoed, repeating the name slowly, "Hm, alright then, Rikka."There was a brief pause as Mira studied her again, this time with a faint smile tugging at the corner of her lips."You know, the name is quite fitting for you. If I can remember correctly, Rikka means 'flower.' ""or some variant of snow, who knows." She muttered.Mira had multitasked as she ordered her meal using the tablet [ 1X chocolate bear-shaped eclair & 1X matcha latte. ] She had practically drooled at the thought, skipping breakfast and lunch to indulge in the specialty treats.She now drew her attention back to the paper in front of Rikka." That's Bojo, right? " she asked. " He's quite cute! "She didn’t mention the shaky lines or the proportions being a little off. She saw effort. And that counted for something. Mira leaned back in her chair, letting the sounds of the cafe wash over them again for a moment before speaking."And hey… don’t sweat the math. Numbers and I aren’t on speaking terms either.""If I remember correctly, they do have a study group where your seniors, like me, can help you after school. They're always welcoming to newcomers!"

A note on moral policies: We are adults so we can recognize that the morals, opinions or beliefs our OC's have does not necessarily reflect the beliefs morals, opinions or beliefs of the writer. Our characters don't have to be morally or politically correct all the time. They can say ignorant things, be in the wrong, say hurtful things intentionally. It's only human to make these mistakes and I believe that the more flawed the character, the more compelling the RP will be.with that i am still entitled to hold boundaries on certain things. you will see within my "expectations" (which also works as my guidelines) that i do have limits.

001.

basic do not interact: no bigotry, no aging up characters for smut (romance/concepts in general are FINE, this is exclusive to canon characters. It personally just grosses me out to see smut of characters like Anya from Spy Family.), no glamorizing / demonizing addiction, no fetishization ( racial identity, sexualities, etc. ), no "callout culture", no nazi / rape / pedophile apologists, no writing smut of real people, no roleplaying real life people, you can get the picture.

002.

These will be tagged accordingly, but some characters may or may not contain: abuse/domestic violence (both alluded to but never actively written), violence, drug use / addiction, alcoholism, emotional self harm, child abuse, child sexual abuse, pedophilia, death, cannibalism, sexual violence, child abandonment, and murder. (plus more) If you do not do the same don't even bother. You NEED to tag everything that may be a sensitive topic. this is NOT for discussion.

003.

I cannot roleplay anyone who has sex trafficking / rape / csa in their character's storyline. In short terms, it's not you but me. I'd also appreciate if any eating disorder content mentions + descriptions of torture were tagged. These being in backstories are completely fine. I also will not interact with German characters, specifically those who are militarized. If you want a longer list of boundaries, check my forever growing list to understand me more.

004.

I do not tolerate my characters being put into a box. Labels such as 'psychopath' or 'sociopath' being pasted onto them are not only reductive, but inaccurate. In addition: none of my characters are evil, they're not good people (at times) but products of their environment. This needs to be recognized, though this is not to say that your character cannot make this flaw because this is encouraged. Flaws make human, human. I've said this before in my disclaimer but I felt the need to repeat this. Its very important to me.

005.

If you are going to roleplay a mental illness / physical disability / etc. please do research on it before doing so. It is frustrating to see people roleplay these very sensitive topics and play into negative (or "positive") stereotypes. Its okay for you to "hold" one or two but to define your character entirely around it can come off as ableist. To me: the only bad kind of representation is the kind that doesn't portray the group accurately. Its not as if I'm asking you to be the best token character. Just do it right.
